| HMS Goldfinch |
  Dates: 1910 - 1919 Three ships of the Royal Navy and one shore establishment have borne the name HMS Goldfinch, probably after the bird the European Goldfinch: HMS Goldfinch was an Acorn class destroyer of the Royal Navy, built in 1910. She was wrecked in fog on Start Point, Sanday Island, Orkneys on the night of 18-19 February 1915. She was broken up for scrap in April 1919.
