| Underwater Weapons Launching Establishment |
 
Dates: Unknown - 1959 Underwater Weapons Launching Establishment - design and production of torpedo and mine launching equipment was based at Portsmouth Dockyard from the First World War. In 1947, design was made the responsibility of the Underwater Weapons Launching Establishment, the reports of which are in ADM 260 and ADM 213 . On closure in 1959, this function passed to the Admiralty Underwater Weapons Establishment.
