Prince of Wales’s Volunteers

Dates: 1793 -

The Prince of Wales’ Volunteers was an infantry regiment in the British Army. It was raised in 1793 and marked as the 82nd Regiment of Foot. In 1802, it became the 82nd Regiment of Foot (Prince of Wales’ Volunteers). In 1881, it was amalgamated into The Prince of Wales’ Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment).
