HMS Strule

The Croix de Lorraine was a French British-built Aventure Class frigate of 1400 tons displacement launched in 1943 as HMS Strule. The Croix de Lorraine was powered by two 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 19 knots and carried a complement of 140. She was armed with two 4 inch anti-aircraft guns; eleven 20 mm anti-aircraft guns and six depth charge throwers.
