Displacement : 1318 ton Length : 92.7 m Ship Type : Escort Escort Type: Frigate Main Engines: 5500 hp Machinery Type: Reciprocating U 772 and U 1014 German submarines were sunk by HMS Nyasaland in WW2. Returned to USA Navy in 1946
