Dates: 1943 - 1946 The H.M.S KEATS was a sole named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the ’CAPTAIN CLASS FRIGATES (first group) - Ex US GMT’ class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 1190 Tons and was launched from the Boston Navy Yard, on 17/07/1943. The ship was on lend lease from the US Navy and later returned to USN on 27/02/1946.
