Dates: 1943 - 1946 The H.M.S GARDINER was a sole named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the Captain Class Frigates(first group) - Ex US GMT, class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 1190 Tons and was launched from the Boston Navy Yard, on 08/07/1943. The ship was on Lend Lease from the US Navy and was originally the USS O’TOOLE. It was returned to the USN on 12/02/1946.
