Dates: 1943 - 1945 The H.M.S GARLIES was a sole named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the CAPTAIN CLASS FRIGATES (first group) - Ex US GMT ,Class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 1190 Tons and was launched from the Boston Navy Yard, on 18/05/1943. The ship was on Lend Lease from The US Navy and was originally known as the USS FLEMING. It was returned back to the USN on 20/08/1945.
