Dates: 1943 - 1946 The H.M.S HALSTED was a sole named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the ’CAPTAIN CLASS FRIGATES (second group) - Ex US TE’ class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 1430 Tons and was launched from the Bethlehem shipyard, on 01/09/1943. The ship was on Lend Lease from the US Navy and was originally Known as the USS REYNOLDS, She was damaged by torpedoes on 11/06/1944. She was hulked and nominally returned to the US Navy in 1946 and later sold on 01/11/1946 for breaking up in Holland.
