Dates: 1943 - 1945 The H.M.S HOLMES was a 2nd of the line named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the ’Captain Class Frigate’ class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 1430 Tons and was launched from the Bethlehem shipyard, on 18/12/1943. The ship was on Lend Lease from the US Navy and was later returned to the US Navy on 03/12/1945.
