HMS Drury

Dates: 1943 - 1945

HMS Drury was built as USS Drury (BDE-46) an Evarts class destroyer escort for the US Navy. She was loaned to the United Kingdom as part of the lend-lease agreement between the United States and the United Kingdom and served initially as HMS Cockburn and subsequently as HMS Drury (both with the pennant number K316) from 1944 onward. Complement: 198.

On 20 August 1945 HMS Drury was decommissioned from the Royal Navy at Chatham. She was commissioned into the US Navy the same day.

USS Drury arrived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 8 September and remained at the Navy Yard where she was finally decommissioned on 22 October 1945. She was scrapped in June 1946.
