Dates: 1942 - 1945 Function - Combined Ops base for landing craft from Jan 1943 providing administrative support and facilitation of servicing needs. Also accommodated spare crews and replacement Royal Marines for flak and gun craft. Address and commissioning history - Exbury House, Southampton. The base was commissioned on 6/5/42, placed on care and maintenance from 4/45 and closed on 6/7/45.
