Dates: 1906 - 1990 BLACKDOWN CAMP Near KINGSBRIDGE This permissive footpath has been created as part of the Countryside Stewardship Scheme which provides a circular walk and an interesting link between the Iron Age hill for at Blackdown Rings and Ladies Wood. The route affords panoramic views into Cornwall to the west and Dartmoor to the north. Part way along the route you will enter a woodland which is carpeted with bluebells in the spring. Ground nesting birds breed on this site from April until July. During this period please keep dogs on leads to avoid disturbing the birds.
