Was named FORWARD II, renamed 4th. November 1942, -though name appears in a
list 5th. November 1940- Independent command, accounts FORWARD November
1941. In Paris Hotel and East Quay (June 1944), Paid Off 16th. April 1945.
Nominal Depot Ship WHITE SPRAY to 16th. April 1945.

HMS NEWT, Combined Operations Base, West Quay, Newhaven.

Commissioned 15th. October 1942, Independent Command, accounts FORWARD -
under Care and Maintenance party, to be used for Combined Operations
personnel from time to time. March 1945 no longer required as Landing Craft
base, became accomodation for Eclipse Parties ( Naval Parties into Europe),
Paid Off 22nd. June 1945.
LCT Hards at Sleepers Hole & Seaford and accomodation in Fort Road.

Nominal Depot Ship : NAN KARINA 15th. October 1942 - 22nd June 1945.
