HMT Empire Activity

Dates: 1940 - 1967

Built by Caledon Ship building and Engineering at Dundee.She was laid down as a cargo carrier Telemachus.
In 1941 she was taken over by the Ministry of Transport to become Empire Activity.
In Jan of 1942 she was taken by the admiralty and converted to an escort carrier.After that she was commisioned as HMS Activity, Pennant number D94 and was under command of captain Guy Willoughby. She was sold into merchent service on March 25,1946.
