Dates: 1944 - 1967 The H.M.S JEWEL was a 2nd of the line named Minesweeper ship, which belonged to the ’Algerine ’ class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 860 Tons and was launched from the Harland & Wolff shipyard, on 20/07/1944. The ship served until 1944 and was sold and scrapped in 1967 at Inverkeithing.
