| HMS Thornham |
  Dates: 1967 - HMS Thornham was a Ham class inshore minesweeper. One of 93 ships. Their names were all chosen from villages ending in ham. She was named after Thornham in Norfolk. HMS Thornham was converted in 1967 at Rosyth Dockyard for use by the Aberdeen University Naval Unit. She gave her ships bell to Thornham Church in 1969 and it is rung to signal the two minutes silence every Remembrance Sunday.
