| HMS Loch Killisport |
  Dates: 1944 - 1970 LOCH-Class Twin Screw Frigate ordered from Harland & Wolf , Belfast on 2nd February 1943 and laid down as Job No J3353 (Yard No 1248) on 28th December 1943. The ship was launched en 6th July 1944 as the 1st RN ship to bear the name, that of the Gaelic named Loch Caolisport in Argyllshire. Taken in tow to Liverpool, fitting-out was carried out at Liverpool in the Builder’s yard and completed on 9th July 1944. Badge : On a Field Red a cubit arm White, grasping a spur Gold.
