HMS Sylvia

Dates: 1944 - 1958

The H.M.S SYLVIA was a 5th of the line named Minewsweeper ship, which belonged to the ’Algerine’ class of ships.

The ship had a displacement of 860 Tons and was launched from the Lobnitz shipyard, on 28/02/1944.

The ship was sold in Malta on 16/09/1958, it arrived at Gateshead on 24/10/1958 for breaking up.
