| HMS Aisne |
  Dates: 1947 - 1968 A Battle class destroyer, built by Vickers Armstrong in 1943-45. Named after the Battle of the Aisne, she was the first warship launched after VE Day. She was assigned to the Home Fleet. In 1950 she was laid up, 1951 she was assigned to the 4th Destroyer Squadron. Aisne took place in the fleet review at Spithead to celebrate the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II. In 1959 she began conversion to a Radar picket role, installing new radar and the Seacat missile system. 1962 she joined the 7th Destroyer Squadron, followed by the 23rd Escort Squadron and then 30th Escort Squadron. In 1964 she was deployed to the Far East Fleet followed by a deployment to the West Indies in 1967. She was decommissioned in 1968, and scrapped in 1970.
