Laid down 22 September 1942 as AM-333 by Toronto Shipbuilding, Ltd., Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Renamed Redfern Construction Company in August 1943);
Launched 21 December 1942; U.S. Navy contract canceled 20 December 1943;
Taken over by the Royal Navy and completed as HMS Octavia (J 290), 24 February 1944;
Sold 27 April 1950.
Commanding Officer:
Lt.Cdr. L.C.D. Godwin, DSC, RN
5 February 1944 – still in command in October 1945 according to the Navy List
