Dates: 1943 - 1957 The H.M.S MOON was a 4th of the line named Minesweeper ship, which belonged to the ’Ex Canadian / US Algerine Class Minesweepers’ class of ships. The ship had a displacement of 860 Tons and was launched from the Redfern Toronto shipyard, on 02/09/1943. The ship was originally called the RCN Mimico and arrived for breaking up at gateshead on 13/11/1957.
