The H.M.S GUERNSEY was a 4th of the line named PATROL VESSEL, it belonged to the ’Patrol Craft’class of ships, which were used among other things to destroy enemy submarines.

The ship had a displacement of 925 Tons and was launched from the Hall Russell shipyard, on 17/02/1977.

The ship was paid off on 31/12/2003.

The 1st ship of the GUERNSEY name was a 4th rate 48, which waslaunched from Blackwall in 1696.
It was later Re-built in Chatham 1740 and sold in 1786.
