  Dates: 1971 - 2007 Commander-in-Chief Fleet (CINCFLEET) is the admiral responsible for the operation, resourcing and training of the ships, submarines and aircraft, and personnel, of the British Royal Navy. CINC is subordinate to the First Sea Lord, the professional head of the Naval Service. Full command of all deployable Fleet units, including the Royal Marines and the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, is delegated to Commander-in-Chief Fleet, currently Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope, with his Command Headquarters at HMS Excellent in Portsmouth and his Operational Headquarters at Northwood, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, co-located with the Permanent Joint Headquarters and a NATO Regional Command, Allied Maritime Component Command Northwood. CINCFLEET is dual-hatted as Commander AMCCN.

CINCFLEET, in 1951Written by edward w mustard Contact this person >>  "going from about 1 1 1950 ii was serving on the corunna we were in sardinia friday night a tele gram my mother was very ill .compassionate leave 4 weeks .home by train .taking about 30 hrs .ma died .went back to pembroke in ther till 12/ 7/ 51 met a hoppo daisy Adams .on the same course also A Cornell and cinderby we were to spend the next 2 to 3 yrs as shipmates on the constance . in the ordanance dept spending a yr up thre coast of korea .very dodgy at times and somtimes very exciting we were there whenthe truce was signed in july 1953 ’piad off in nov1953 back home new yrs eve. "

Anyone remember Percy Pearson? I served at RNAS Culdrose in 1984; HMS Neptune 1984-5; HMS Brazen 1985-8; CINCFLEET 1988; and finally HMS Gannet 1988-90.
