This Station was the North West Signal Centre, just off the East Lancs Road near St. Helens. Relayed messages by mainly tape relaying to other Stations, including USAF Burtonwood.

Regrettably the Station that was, is now buried under a housing estate.

RAF Haydock units were North West Comm Centre and a lodger radara unit called 53 Signal Unit.
It was born from RAF Fazakerley and RAF Woodvale.
It was the admmin unit for Manachester and Liverpool University Air Squadrons. Also RAF Houghton Green (Warrington)
