"I am trying to get information about Sydney Smith who served on HMS Redpole in the Pacific Fleet in WW2. I know he was ashore in Australia around September 1945. I believe he was an engineer. He is probably deceased by now, but I am nevertheless keen to obtain any news/information about him or his family."
