HMS Fawn

Dates: 1968 - 1991

The HMS FAWN was a survey ship, which belonged to the Bulldog class of ships.

The ship was the 6th of the line ship the 1st of the line was a Brig Sloop originally FAUNE 16 captured from French 15/08/1805, it was still in service 1806.

The ship had a displacement of 1050 Tons and was launched from the Brooke Marine, on 20/02/1968.

The ship was sold as an off shore support vessel re-named RED FULMAR 1991.

As of August 2007, the vessel is being offered for sale.
