HMS Otter

Dates: 1960 - 1991

The H.M.S OTTER was a sole named submarine, which belonged to the ’Oberon’ class of ships.

The ship had a displacement of 1610 Tons, a speed of 12 Knots and was launched from Scotts Shipbuilding, Greenock on 15 May 1960.

She had an Armament of Eight 21inch Torpedo Tubes, (carrying 30 torpedoes.)

The ship was was paid off on 31 July 1991.
