Dates: 1930 - 1945 HMCS Restigouche, a River Class destroyer serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, 1939-1945. Formerly known as HMS Comet ( C Class ), built at Portmouth Dockyard, Portsmouth and Hawthorne Leslie, Newcastle. Decommissioned from the Royal Navy in 1938. She served in the North Atlantic escorting convoys. She was decommissioned in 1945 and sold for scrap.
