HMS Martinet

HMS Martinet (formerly the Barnstone) was built by Smiths Dock Co., Ltd. (South Bank-on-Tees, U.K.)and was a British Bayonet Class boom defence vessel of 530 tons displacement. HMS Martinet had a top speed of 11.5 knots and was armed with a 3-inch anti-aircraft gun.

HMS Martinet was laid down on the 9th June 1938, launched on the 8th December 1938 and commissioned on the 4th May, 1939.
