HMS Chieftain

Dates: 1945 - 1961

The HMS Chieftan was a sole named ship.
Its displacement was 1,825 Tons and it was part of the royal naval C class destroyers, which also included ships such as the HMS Cossack and HMS Cavalier.
The ship was sold to Thomas Young & Sons for breaking up and arrived in Sunderland on 20/03/1961.
