HMS Jaguar

Dates: 1957 - 1978

The H.M.S JAGUAR was a 2nd of the line named Frigate ship, which belonged to the ’leopard’ class of frigate ships.

The ship had a displacement of 2300 Tons and was launched from the Denny shipyard, on 30/07/1957.

The ship was sold to The Bangladeshi Navy on 06/07/1978 and Re-named the B.N.S. ALI HAIDER.

The 1st of the line was a Destroyer of 1,690 Tons launched by Denny on 22/11/1938 and Sunk by U652 off Sollum on 26/03/1942.
