HMS Cuxton

HMS Cuxton is a British Ton Class coastal minesweeper of 360 tons displacement. HMS Cuxton has a double mahogany hull on an aluminium frame and is powered by two Paxman Deltic 18A-7A diesel engines providing a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 2500 miles at 12 knots. She carries a crew of 32 including five officers and is armed with a Bofors 40 mm/60 Mk 3 dual-purpose gun; three FN 7.62 mm machine-guns and two Oerlikon 20 mm guns.

HMS Cuxton was constructed in 1953 in Southampton but lay in reserve until 1975 and was scrapped in 1992.
